| "The Social Structure
of Fear of Rape" Based upon survey data of over 1,800 women at four different colleges and universities, this presentation examines variation in the extent to which respondents reported being fearful of being raped: by someone they knew; by a stranger; and of fear of rape generally. Factors that contribute to shaping the reported perceptions of fear of rape are also discussed. |
