Ms. Emily Keener and Dr. Hilary Lips:
"Effects of Dominance, Sex role expectations, and Incentives on Negotiating Behavior"

A series of studies over the past several decades has shown that, when paired with men to work on a task, women tend to allow their male partners to take the leadership role. This happens even in pairs where the woman has a dominant personality and the man does not. Is this pattern disappearing, or do women still allow men to take charge? This research is designed to answer that question.
