| Abstract. What can we learn from studying the status of women in Greece and how does it apply to the daily lives and experiences of women here, in the United States. This question will be answered by viewing the current picture within an historical framework. Influential females from Greece’s rich cultural history are introduced and conceptualized as transformational symbols of power. |
