The Role of Mood on Reports of University Citizenship
and Deviance Behaviors
By: Ms. Erin Carroll
       & Dr. Nora Reilly
Abstract. There are few more consistent findings in psychology: "Happy people are helpful people.” Helping behaviors and mood have long been studied in social psychology. However, when the same principles are studied in the workforce, they don’t seem to apply. Erin will present the results of a study designed to explore the role of transient mood and students' reports of behaviors that promote or hurt their university.
